Teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Milan, 7th-9th december 2007. Teachings on the text "Commentary to the Mind of Enlightenment" by Pandit Nagarjuna. According to Buddhism, the main cause of our discomfort and suffering is our innate selfish attitude of caring only about ourselves and of completely ignoring other people. From this innate selfishness stem our personal sufferings, but also social problems like hatred, war, intolerance.
