An Honoring Approach to the Transitions and Challenges of Adolescent Girls and Women With the science and spirit of the butterfly’s transformation, this experiential workshop will focus upon the challenges, life-cycles and transitions of adolescent girls as they become women in society today. Weaving the principles of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, along with Native American, Hawaiian and other transcultural teachings, participants will learn how to create and utilize storytelling, story-crafts, rituals and ceremonies for healing, growth, and renewal. Gems of Change for Accessing and Utilizing Multigenerational and Inner Resources for Healing Childhood Trauma This experiential workshop will present an essential element of StoryPlay®, an Ericksonian, resiliency-based, indirective process of Play Therapy that focuses upon how to identify, access and utilize multi-generational and inner resources, skills, and gifts as invaluable “gems” to move us beyond diagnosis and effect transformational change for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and adversity. Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1. Access and utilize Inner Resources of a child or adolescent during the first session. 2. Learn two StoryCrafts for experiential healing.
